These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rowflare Cloud, the hosted edition of Rowflare at app.rowflare.com (the "Service"), operated by Rowflare ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying a subscription you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you accept these Terms on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to do so.
The open-source Rowflare software that you run on your own infrastructure is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and is not covered by these Terms, except where you contact us for a commercial license.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- You sign in with Google, GitHub or a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email or provider account secure; you are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to your workspaces.
- Give us accurate information and keep your email address current, because we send sign-in codes and billing notices there.
2. Plans and subscriptions
- Each workspace is on the Free plan or the Paid plan. The current limits of each plan are listed on the pricing page.
- The Paid plan costs $29 per workspace per month or $290 per workspace per year, unless a different price is shown at checkout. The price at checkout applies to your subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- If a workspace goes back to the Free plan, its data is kept. While it is over a Free limit you can read and edit existing data but cannot add more of what is over the limit.
- We may change prices or plan limits. Price changes apply from your next renewal after we give you at least 30 days' notice by email; you can cancel before then.
3. Payment
Payments are processed by our payment provider and merchant of record, Creem, which collects the payment, applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoice. Your payment details go to Creem, not to us. By subscribing you also agree to the payment provider's terms that are shown at checkout. If a renewal payment fails, the workspace may return to the Free plan until payment succeeds.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings, Billing, Manage subscription. After cancelling, the workspace keeps the Paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to the Free plan. No further charges are made.
- 14-day refund. If you are not satisfied, email support@rowflare.com within 14 days of your first payment or of a renewal payment and we will refund that payment in full. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Creem.
- After 14 days, payments are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where we end the Service as described in section 9.
5. Your content
- You own the data you put into the Service: bases, records, attachments, automations and anything the AI features generate for you ("Your Content").
- You give us a limited permission to store, process, copy and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, keep backups, and comply with the law. We do not use Your Content to train AI models and we do not sell it.
- You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it. You can export your data at any time, for example as CSV, and move to a self-hosted instance.
6. AI features
- Rowflare can generate text with AI models, using a model service that you or your workspace owner configure (with your own API key) or the included Workers AI quota.
- When you use a model service with your own key, the prompt and the record data you choose to include are sent to that provider and its terms apply to that use. You are responsible for your agreement with that provider and its fees.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or offensive. Review it before you rely on it. You are responsible for how you use AI output.
- Prohibited AI-generated content. You must not use the AI features to generate, request or store sexually explicit, pornographic, adult or NSFW content, any sexual content involving minors, or any other content prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy (including hate speech, harassment, violent extremism, self-harm promotion, instructions for weapons or serious harm, malware, fraud and illegal content). This applies whichever model is used, including a model service configured with your own API key.
- We may remove prohibited content, disable AI features, or suspend or close the account or workspace involved, and we report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: no illegal content, no abuse of other people, no sexually explicit or other prohibited AI content, no spam, no malware and no attacks on the Service or others.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but the Service is provided without a guaranteed uptime or service level. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and ask for a pro-rated refund of the unused period.
9. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your workspaces at any time. To close your account, email support@rowflare.com.
- We may suspend or close an account or workspace that breaks these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that puts the Service or other users at risk, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem and export your data.
- If we discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data, and refund any prepaid amount for the period after the shutdown.
- After an account is closed, we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. Keep your own exports of data that matters to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will notify account owners by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Rowflare's operator is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
